Bela's Favorite Spot

Bela seems to be the only cat I know that likes water. She's just asking for it now.

The Litter-Robot

With the new addition of Bela to our family we knew we would have a problem. This problem arises whenever you purchase a new pet. Yes, I'm talking about poop. I personally don't have the patience to be cleaning up after another creatures mess, so I set out to find the world's best litter box solution. I found it in the Litter Robot.

This box arrived one day at our back door. We were quite excited to open up this massive box.

Upon opening up the box we were greeted with a large ball which resembles the death star and a circular base. It wasn't too hard to figure out how to put the whole thing together, because it became really difficult to balance the circular base on top of the death star without it tipping over, so we figured it must be the other way around like you see in the above picture.

After we set it all up, Bela was obviously curious about her new found igloo.

Incidentally, the box was so large that it has become our table while we patiently wait for available time to purchase a real dining room set.

If you would like to know how it works then I'll refer you to the litter robot website for a small video of how this miracle machine works. It looks gimmicky, but it really does work and it will save us a whole lot of time that we just don't have.

The Newest Shreeve

For the past 7 months I have heard the words, "Bryce, I want a kitty," repeatedly. We couldn't get one in our little apartment so when we moved in the repetition increased. We searched for a while on KSL and ended up finding this little girl in Ogden. We've decided to call her Bela (Portuguese for Beautiful - Bay-Luh). Jenn pointed out last night that we've probably had more fun with Bela than we've had with our new house. She's given us plenty of battle scars as well.

The real me.

The Move

Yes, we moved about a month ago, but because of that there has been no time to Blog. Today is my catch up day and it will mostly be photos. Here are some of the pictures of the move. We moved on March 7th and we would like to thank both our families for the help that you gave us that day. We're settled for the most part. Now we're just awaiting summer to come so that we can start working on house stuff.

This trio helped make the house sanitary for residential use. Thanks for the help!

We had to pile it all in the kitchen to clean up our nasty carpets before we put this stuff on the carpet. We used chem-dry and I would highly recommend it. They pulled up stuff and removed stains that I never would have known were there.
