The Newest Shreeve

For the past 7 months I have heard the words, "Bryce, I want a kitty," repeatedly. We couldn't get one in our little apartment so when we moved in the repetition increased. We searched for a while on KSL and ended up finding this little girl in Ogden. We've decided to call her Bela (Portuguese for Beautiful - Bay-Luh). Jenn pointed out last night that we've probably had more fun with Bela than we've had with our new house. She's given us plenty of battle scars as well.

The real me.

The Move

Yes, we moved about a month ago, but because of that there has been no time to Blog. Today is my catch up day and it will mostly be photos. Here are some of the pictures of the move. We moved on March 7th and we would like to thank both our families for the help that you gave us that day. We're settled for the most part. Now we're just awaiting summer to come so that we can start working on house stuff.

This trio helped make the house sanitary for residential use. Thanks for the help!

We had to pile it all in the kitchen to clean up our nasty carpets before we put this stuff on the carpet. We used chem-dry and I would highly recommend it. They pulled up stuff and removed stains that I never would have known were there.

We've decided!

Well everybody, we've finally decided to take the plunge into home ownership. We've been looking for a few months and we have found what we're looking for. We're very excited about it and our offer was accepted last week and we will close on the 3rd of March. I have some pictures here for all who would like to look at our new humble abode.

Photography

For those of you who don't know, I have a great appreciation for digital art and photography. This doesn't mean that I'm a good photographer by any means, but I would like to be some day. Because of this I will periodically post the best picture I've taken since my last post just to show one of my hobbies. I love video and photography so you may expect videos as well. Hope you like them!

2009 Temple Tour

The year Jenn and I have decided to put together a temple tour where we go to one temple in Utah every month. We have invited many friends and of course any who did not get an invitation are welcome to come if they e-mail or call me. Our first trip was to the Bountiful temple. It was a good start to the tour. Any who would like to download the pictures can open the pictures and right click to do a save as. Hope to see you in Salt Lake on the 14th! (Calendar coming soon to the blog)

Netflix-a-thon

New years day ended up to be less eventful than expected so we decided to make use of the netflix subscription Ty and Brooke gave us for Christmas to stream movies. We aren't cool enough to have an X-box 360 so we just brought in blankets and our couch cushions while plopping the computer monitor onto the floor. It was a lot of fun.

New Years Eve

We had a great New Year's Eve going over to Brooke's house. We played Blokus. After that we came back to our house where DJ and Alaide dropped by to celebrate the New Year. Those things in the picture are flying screaming baloons. We had a great time! Happy 2009 everyone!
